From our base in Guildford Surrey, Mountside Mobility can install Motability approved single lever push-pull style hand controls. Hand controls are available in three styles; Standard hand controls, Deluxe hand controls and Luxury Hand controls.
Standard hand controls are supplied from a kit and fitted to the under side of the steering column. A solid steel rod is used to push the brake pedal lever and a cable used to pull the accelerator pedal lever.
Deluxe hand controls (above pic) are designed and manufactured specifically for your car and fitted under the steering column as the standard hand controls. Two separate steel rods are used to push the brake and accelerator pedal levers. The hand controls operate the brake and accelerator in the same way as the standard hand controls but with the two rods and the push pull lever are generally more hidden within the steering column cowl.
